RESPONSIBILITIES:
Specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Work with AIDSFree staff to gather appropriate voucher documentation and enter transactions in QuickBooks.
  • Review all accounting transactions before submission to the Finance Manager.
  • Proper review and Cross Checking of vendors’ invoices to ensure there are no double payments.
  • Review all travel advance requests and expense reports for accuracy and appropriate documentation.
  • Monitor outstanding advances and take action as necessary.
  • Provide financial and administrative support for meetings, conferences, workshops hosted by AIDSFree.
  • Maintain all financial files including vouchers and procurement documentation. Participate on procurement committees as needed. Assist the Finance Manager on Monthly reconciliation and closing process.
  • Provide financial and administrative support for meetings, conferences, workshops hosted by AIDSFree
  • Manage Value Added Tax (VAT) exemption applications and VAT reimbursements,;
  • Work with contracted agent to clear goods and services procured/donated to JSI AIDSFree.
  • Support the Finance Manager on accounting and finance related tasks as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i.    In accordance with plans development by senior management/department manager, develop, implement and evaluate an annual communications strategy
ii.    Working with senior management to determine goals and critical success factor
iii.    Ensure the communications budget is in conjunction with organization budget
iv.    Develop, implement, and evaluate the annual social media strategy
v.    Provide professional writing and communication in support MBNP internal and external communications
vi.    Responsible for creating though leadership pieces like op-eds and blogs
vii.    Assist with maintaining consistency with respect the MBNP goals and vision
viii.    Provide input on tactics and actions items needed to meet agreed upon MBNP goals

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
-    A graduate or post graduate qualifications in communications, marketing and public administration journalism, public relations or any other related
-    2 years working experience in communications with relations messaging an media relations
-    Proven experience in communications, social media, public relations messaging and media elations
-    Proven experience in communication, social media, public relations messaging and media relations
-    Well-developed report writing, publication, research and consultation skills
